Introduction

Do you know the feeling that anything seems possible? When was the last time you had it? We at AIMO have one goal - everyone who is part of our strong community should be able to enjoy this overwhelming feeling: To simply move freely. Without limits! For us, this includes individual freedom of movement and movement intelligence. Because only those who understand and trust their body can enjoy life with ease and serenity.

Especially when the temperatures rise in summer, it's worth spending even more time in the fresh air. Whether you're hiking in the mountains, swimming in the lake or sea, strolling through the city or exploring by bike - we want you to feel good without limits.

Getting to grips with your own body

For us, this also includes consciously engaging with your own body. We inspire you to check where you still have potential to develop. Why not leave the beaten track and venture into unknown territory - in the truest sense of the word. Because your brain learns and develops by learning and experiencing new things. Only if we are constantly confronted with the unknown can we remain physically and mentally efficient into old age.
Whether you see something new, feel something new, taste something new - experiencing something new builds new connections in your brain. And the more connections you have between different areas of your brain, the better. And yes, this continues into old age!
Establish routine through categories

That's why we have different categories at AIMO, for example:

- 2-minute routine, balance training for everyday life, mindfulness and body awareness
- Strength and mobility, running, training to work up a sweat

It can be surprisingly good to try something new and choose a new category and therefore new exercises instead of the usual exercises in your workout.
This is also one of the reasons why we have integrated neuro-centered training into AIMO. Many people are still unfamiliar with this approach and very few have incorporated eyes, breathing or balance into their daily training routines. However, for an efficient body, it is crucial to use all movement-controlling systems regularly and therefore to incorporate them regularly into training.
We believe in our community, which is why we brought the expert for neuro-centered training on board last year: Luise Walther. In the 2-minute routine and the body awareness categories, she clearly demonstrates how easy it can be to move the body holistically: including eyes, breathing and balance. Transfer the new impulses into your everyday life and break new ground!

Three tips that you can implement straight away

For example, try the following new impulses on your next walk:

  1. Breathe in through your nose and out through your nose only
  2. While looking straight ahead, pay attention to what you see in the periphery
  3. Feel the ground beneath your feet and pay attention to different surfaces

Advantages of walking

Any physical activity, especially walking
- Sharpens attention
- Improves our memory
- Boosts creativity

Conclusion

AIMO inspires people to experience movement as something holistic and free - regardless of age or training level. Consciously experiencing the body, regular variety in movement and neuro-centered training approaches not only promote physical performance, but also support mental freshness into old age. New stimuli, such as conscious breathing or sensory mindfulness when walking, help to strengthen the connection to one's own body and rediscover the joy of movement.
