Declaration on WCAR 2.1 and BITV 2.0

At AIMO, we attach great importance to ensuring that our app „AIMO healthy movement“ is accessible to all people - regardless of their physical or cognitive abilities. To ensure this, we are guided by the international guidelines of the WCAG 2.1 at conformance level AA and the requirements of the BITV 2.0.

Below you will find an overview of which accessibility criteria our app already fulfills and which improvements we are currently implementing:

Our app is already accessible in many key areas:

• Structured content: All content is clearly structured, with a comprehensible sequence and supporting print materials and videos.
• High contrast & focus control: Texts and navigation elements correspond to the recommended contrast ratios, interactive elements have a visible focus.
• Keyboard operation: The app can be used in full without a mouse - even with motor impairments.
• Responsive presentation: The app adapts dynamically to different screen sizes and zoom levels.
• Language definition & navigation: All content is in German and navigation is symbol-based and intuitive.
• Error detection & avoidance: Forms provide clear feedback and critical actions are subject to security checks.
• Assistance technology compatible: The user interface has been designed in such a way that important roles and names are made available to assistive technologies such as screen readers.

Partially implemented (improvement planned shortly)

We are continuously improving accessibility and are currently working on:

• Text alternatives for images (alt texts)
• Full text scaling to 200 % without display loss
• Expansion of semantic labeling for assistance systems

Alternative contents

• All audio content of the training courses is also available in written form.
• Videos can be understood without sound and deepened with supplementary materials.
• On request, content can also be used in larger display formats or on TV.

This declaration is based on an internal self-assessment dated 12.06.2025 and is updated regularly.

The AIMO app was certified by the ZPP in 2023 and meets the requirements for accessible digital prevention services according to internal testing based on WCAG 2.1 AA and BITV 2.0. An external BITV test is not mandatory for SMEs according to the current legal situation.
