Scientific cooperation:
- In collaboration with Prof. Nadja Schott (University of Stuttgart), a study design was developed to evaluate the effectiveness of the app as a digital prevention tool in accordance with § 20 SGB V. The study examines the effects of the app on task-related, coping-related and time-related self-efficacy.
Central research questions:
- Effectiveness: Does the app increase self-efficacy in people with a sedentary lifestyle compared to non-users?
Influence of regularity: How do duration of use and consistency influence self-efficacy?
Behavioral changes: How does user behavior develop with increasing self-efficacy?
Goals and expected results:
- It is expected that the intervention group will show a significant improvement in self-efficacy, motivation and physical activity compared to the control group. The results will be reviewed three months after the intervention.
Existing evidence:
- Previous studies show that short, regular training sessions significantly improve exercise-related self-efficacy and offer health benefits.
